The Wine Lovers Celebration Passport 2026 runs January 26 – February 27, 2026, giving you nearly a month to explore 55+ award-winning wineries while enjoying a stay at Walnut Canyon Cabins, just minutes from the heart of Wine Country. It’s not just the Fredericksburg area—participating wineries span from Kerrville to Comfort, Johnson City, Dripping Springs, up to San Saba, offering a true taste of the diversity and character of Texas wine.
This is the perfect way to enjoy a relaxing, unhurried Hill Country getaway!
What you get with the Wine Lovers Celebration Passport is this. Your passport works like a digital coupon book. A custom barcode emailed after purchase is scanned at each winery, giving you:
• One complimentary tasting per winery
• Up to four wineries per day
• 10% off purchases of three or more bottles (redeemable once per winery).
Some wineries require reservations—details are included in the participating winery list. Tickets are $100 per couple or $65 per individual, available only on the Texas Hill Country Wineries website.
With tasting fees averaging $15 per person, the total value exceeds $750, covering the cost after just five winery visits.
Weekdays are the best time to visit. Weekday rates at Walnut Canyon Cabins are lower than weekends, making it the perfect opportunity to enjoy a peaceful Hill Country retreat while exploring the wineries at your own pace. You can take your time, visit multiple wineries without feeling rushed, and fully immerse yourself in the Texas Hill Country wine experience.
Rhonda and I personally visit most wineries midweek—the crowds are lighter, tastings are unhurried, and there’s more time to talk with wine educators and meet the owners. We also purchase at least one passport every year to explore newly added wineries. Over the years, we’ve discovered some truly fabulous wines we never would have found otherwise. We love learning more about the owners and the history behind each winery. Weekday visits let you savor each wine and enjoy the atmosphere while making the most of your Wine Lovers Celebration Passport.
