Summary

Howdy, Y'all! We had a wonderful visit to the New-ish Restaurant, Mesquite at the Warehouse. Mesquite at the Warehouse in Downtown Fredericksburg opened not long ago. We went during their "Happy Hour" and had a great time! We chose from the Small Bites menu so we could sample more items. This is the way we like to eat, small portions and share and just keep ordering until we are satisfied! We started with the Crab Cake, it was flavorful, fresh and crispy outside and moist inside, spices were well balanced. We then enjoyed the 1/2 Beet salad. The dressing was tangy, the beets tender and the salad greens crisp! A very good salad! We decided to go for the Two Ribs, the ribs were moist, tender, and smoky. I would have preferred to have the sauce on the side. We thought about that too late. Deciding we wanted just a bit more because we were sharing everything, we finished with the pulled pork slider, lots of meat and a fresh bun! Just the right amount of sauce, not very spicy, maybe a bit sweet for our tastes. That said, there was nothing left of anything! We recommend trying Mesquite at the Warehouse! A couple of blocks off main and across the creek from the Recycling Center. Bon Appetit!
